The hotel is in a very good and quiet location, about a 10-minute walk from Princess St, with no problems parking the car at an hourly rate. It allowed us to enjoy their morning preparations at 6 am. The room was clean, although in need of a good dusting, but generally clean and had all the necessary facilities for what we paid and needed.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful, quiet area with easy walking access to cafes and shops. The room, although small for a double, provided good value for the money, especially with the convenience of early luggage drop-off. The high ceilings and en-suite facilities contribute to the typical building charm.

5.6/10
The hotel room was decently tidy, but quite outdated, with uncomfortable furniture and a lumpy, broken toilet. Unfortunately, the room was dark and faced a mount of dirt. On the bright side, the location is convenient for exploring the city easily, but neighboring noises were bothersome. The service had its ups and downs, with unhelpful instances and helpful gestures, while the dining experience was not very welcoming. Overall, it has its flaws, but there are redeeming qualities as well.

The hotel had a private feel with dark rooms that could use a female touch. The unbearable heat throughout the night was a major drawback, even with the window open. The external bathroom added a level of privacy but was inconvenient.
Rooms

The rooms are dark and could do with a female touch. Despite being private, the unbearable heat made for a discomforting stay. The external bathroom was a unique aspect but not very convenient.

The hotel is located in Edinburgh, with easy access into town, perfect for a one-night brief stay. However, it was clearly accommodating the next door room's bathroom, leading to privacy concerns.
Dining
